Regatta Bay, Destin Florida Homes Listed - Sold - October 2012

Regatta Bay, the gated community in Destin Florida, has currently has 19 homes listed for sale. There are three homes under contract per the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors multiple listing service (MLS). Two Regatta Bay listings sold in October 2012.  Prices range from $449,000 to almost $3 million.  The average days on the market for Regatta Bay sold listings for the month was 529  days.
One of the two sales was a short sale.  Note that the average price per square foot for Regatta Bay sold properties was $179, yet the average price per square foot for Regatta Bay homes on the market is $243.  Isn't that interesting?
